The Location | The Rooms
A mere 16 rooms and suites make up Istanbul's premier boutique hotel, filled with cool, modern simplicity.
The pick of them are the five rooms on the top floor of the hotel, each with their own teak-floored balconies. These command fabulous views - you might almost be sitting on the Bosphorus itself. On the next floor down we have Ahmet Rasim Pasha Suite, which used to belong to the governor himself. It has a lovely large balcony. Other Suites on this floor have free-standing bath tubs, two of which are actually in the bedrooms. One, indeed, is actually situated right by the window overlooking the Bosphorous, providing a memorable back drop for your soak.
Although Ajia exudes tranquility, it is so hot locals flock to its hip bar and its superb restaurant.
All rooms are air-conditioned and have plasma TVs. Throughout the emphasis is on cool, However, this superb location and the character of the building puts Ajia in a class of its own.
Maritime romance
Ajia offers a delightfully romantic arrival for its guests. Weather permitting, we'll arrange for you to arrive at the hotel's private landing stage by boat across the mighty, mystical, Bosphorus. Ajia provides a free shuttle boat across the Bosphorus from 12 noon until the restaurant closes, taking you from Asia to Europe in around five minutes. Note that this service does not operate on Mondays.
