Sat 1: Arrive in Gocek; embark M/Y Halas in the late afternoon. Cruise to Yassica Island, Zeytin Island and overnight at Bedri Rahmi Bay.

Sun 2: After breakfast, cruise among the Twelve Islands, each dotted with delightful bays. Sail to Domuz Island (literally, "Pig Island") and Tersane Island, where Suleyman the Magnificent gathered his fleet before storming Rhodes back in the 16th Century. Overnight at Sarsala Bay.

Mon 3: Breakfast at Sarsala, then head for Gemiler Island, once the site of a Byzantine monastic retreat. The mosaics, churches and pathways of the ancient place of worship are a haunting reminder of the majesty of this ancient civilisation. Overnight at Gemiler Island.

Tue 4: From Gemiler Island, we travel to Oludeniz, the famous Blue Lagoon - possibly the world's most photographed beauty spot, other than that of Marilyn Monroe. From we here sail to Fethiye Bay for re-stocking and replenishments. This is a chance to swim and bask, or to go ashore and explore the nearby town. [You can even simply relax at Club Letoonia while the crew do the work, and enjoy complimentary drinks and snacks]. Overnight at Bedri Rahmi Bay.

Wed 5: Sail back to Domuz Island and Tersane Island, pausing along the way at some delightful bays and coves for a cooling swim. Overnight at Sarsala Bay.

Thu 6: Head for Ekincik Bay. Here you have the option to board a small hire boat, which takes you up the almost tropical Dalyan river. Some of the best-preserved Lycian rock tombs are to be found here, and the historic remains of ancient Caunos are nearby, including a splendid amphitheatre. Dalyan is home to loggerhead turtles, and is also a popular spot for an invigorating mud bath. This exotic location, with its high reeds, was used for the classic movie The African Queen , starring Humphrey Bogart and Katherine Hepburn.

Fri 7: From Ekincik, we sail to Fethiye Bay, via Kizil Island and Deliklitas Island, again pausing along the way at some delightful bays and coves for a cooling swim. These may include another of Cleopatra's reputed haunts, the picturesque Cleopatra's Bay, while nearby Batikhamam is another great place for swimming and relaxation. Overnight at Fethiye.

Sat 8: From Fethiye we cruise back to Gocek and disembark after breakfast. For those who joined the ship midweek, there is an optional tour of Letoon, with the eerily submerged Temple of Leto, The Lycian Capital Xanthos, and Tlos, with its imposing Crusader castle.
