Grand Deluxe Rooms

The most sought after rooms at the hotel are in the prosaically-named Block C. As it happens, there's a riot around Block C, but it's one of colour and sweet scents, among the pampered inmates. It's because this block of ten rooms surrounds a large private pool and terrace, part of which is bounded by the walls of a Byzantine ruin covered in bougainvillea and rich Mediterranean greenery.

  • Upper floor - five Superior Rooms, with huge furnished terraces, lovely views
  • Lower floor - another Superior Room (our favourite) and four Grand Deluxe Rooms, whose decor and fittings more than fulfil the promise of their name

Grand Deluxe Rooms - spacious and opening directly onto the teak deck and pool, these rooms have large Jacuzzis made of smooth and glossy black granite

Elixir prefers

  • Grand Deluxe Room 305 is situated on the corner of the block. It's more secluded and has its own private garden and terrace. Canoodling in the Jacuzzi is a fine and private affair.
  • The ground floor Superior Room, 301, has a very large private terrace, fully furnished, which makes it one of the most popular rooms at the hotel.
  • Next door, Grand Deluxe Room 302 is also a particular favourite.

Please note: children are not allowed in Block C. Probably to avoid a riot.
